Fowler Electronics
A Company Profile
Fowler Electronics was founded in June 1984
by Mr D. Fowler. Mr Fowler, a graduate in Electronics from Salford
University, started his career with Marconi Instruments Ltd in St Albans,
Hertfordshire in 1968. He quickly rose to the position of Project Leader and
headed various project teams, finally heading the team designing the
microprocessor and logic circuitry for the world-leading 2380 RF Spectrum
Analyser.
In 1984, when an opportunity arose to leave
Marconi Instruments Ltd and form his own company, Mr Fowler completed his
project with Marconi, and Fowler Electronics was born.
To date, design projects have been
undertaken for many customers. These designs range from the simple remote
control circuitry for the clocks on the public entrances to the Queen's parks
in London, the initial designs for the Tesco's supermarket check-out moving
belt system, to the multi-processor final quality control check circuitry for
Matsushita (Panasonics) mobile telephone production lines. Speculative and very
successful designs have been produced for Sound Systems where the remote
control of audio systems is required. Currently further designs in this range
are being undertaken. Check the Sound System
web pages for further information.
The design facilities at Fowler Electronics
are in constant use for design projects for many companies. Please email fowler.electronics@ntlworld.com
